Our adventure started after 12 hours by bus from Georgetown in Penang to the city which has two of the most expensive buildings in the world (there’re three in total).

When we arrived to the hostel, we took a fast shower and got some information about this magical city. So…let’s go!

The first stop was in the Food Centre. There you can find a lot of stands serving typical food and drinks. Order, pay and choose your seat wherever you like. After that, satisfied and fulfilled and again full of energy, we thought that one of the best things that an adventure traveller like us could do was discover new places at night, and we decided to do it!

Marina Bay was the first place we went to. Amazing views of the three towers and the spinning wheel (Singapore Flyer, the tallest wheel in the world) in only one vision. Walking through the River Valley we got to Clarke Quay, amazing ultra modern neighborhood with a lot of restaurants and bars which looked very nice for us. We had an amazing dinner here! We absolutely recommend  this part of the city.

The following day in the morning was also special because that time we discovered again Singapore but with the daylight provided by the sun, or better, by the clouds. We walked in streets with so many shops to arrive once again at Marina Bay. We went then to the first tower. They charge 20$ pp in the ‘Ce La Vie bar’ stand and with it you can take the lift to the top and use those 20$ to drink or eat at the bar with a spectacular view: all Singapore in front of you.
The skyscrapers of the city and the Gardens By the Bay were a fantastic sight! Not to mention the highest Infinity Pool in the world, right next to the bar, accessible exclusively by the customers of the hotel. Spectacular!

With the sunset we went to the River in the city center, maybe it’s not the best place to see the sunset but it was also nice and full of people and life. To finish our visit in Singapore we choose a restaurant: The Pump Room, Clarke Quay, the place full of bars and restaurants we went the day before, that amuses visitors. Good food and drinks ensured.

Singapore is a beautiful city, with lovely people from all over the world. We recommend to visit it especially at night.

Here you are some pics of our brief visit at Singapore, enjoy!!
